Technical description SRD-868
The SRD-868 is like all antennas of the manufacturer Antennas Amplifiers carefully calculated, durable and high quality workmanship. The only 75 cm short and about 400 grams light 9-element Yagi can be mounted with the supplied mounting hardware on masts with a diameter of 30 - 50 mm (pre-mast mounting).
The impedance is 75 ohms, so commercially available 75 ohm TV cable, e.g. RG6, can be used as the coaxial cable for the feed line, which is connected to the F-connector of the antenna.
Application description SRD-868
The antenna, designed for outdoor use, is used to bridge shorter distances with low transmission power (SRD = Short Range Device) in the frequency range of 863 - 870 MHz. The license-free 868 MHz ISM band is used for a variety of wireless applications, including sensor networks, IoT, RFID systems and LoRa applications.
The directionality of the antenna with an aperture angle of 49° allows targeted coverage of specific areas while suppressing interference from other directions and increasing transmission reliability.
