The 1A2R switch is an RF and PTT router in a compact metal housing that automatically switches an amplifier between two radios. The switching is based on the PTT signal according to the "First One Wins" principle. The device is suitable for use in the shortwave range of 2 - 30 MHz. PTT switching can be disabled independently for each radio by flipping a switch, if required. Once the 1A2R is connected, reconnecting coax cables or manual switching is a thing of the past; the amplifier is permanently routed between the two transceivers. In the event of a failure during SO2R operation, you can switch the amplifier from radio B to radio A as a backup.
The switch is available with either SO-239/PL or N jacks. RCA jacks are available as PTT inputs.
