GPSDO - GPS controlled oscillator for retrofitting

The FlexRadio transceivers FR-6400, 6500, 6600 and 6700 offer the possibility to retrofit a GPS controlled frequency oscillator (GPSDO GPS Disciplined Oscillator). This GPSDO provides a 10 MHz precision clock that controls the internal oscillator. In addition, the signal is also available externally for other devices.

The frequency stability when receiving a GPS signal is 1x10^-8 over 5 minutes and 5x10^-12 over 24 hours. This increased accuracy and stability of the oscillator is especially useful in digital operating modes and for measurements at the receiver. With the GPSDO retrofit option, SMA sockets are available on the rear panel for connecting a GPS antenna and for a 10 MHz reference output. A GPS antenna with an approx. 5m long connection cable is supplied.
