Log-periodic antennas are a special design of directional antennas, where the main focus is on achieving the widest possible bandwidth, as desired, for example, when using scanners, wideband receivers and for surveillance tasks.

This "LogPer" not only covers the frequency range from 130 - 1300 MHz without any gaps on the receiving side, but can also be used for transmitting in the amateur radio ranges 2 m, 70 cm and 23 cm (at an SWR of 2.0 or better) with up to 500 watts input power.
The robust and weather-resistant antenna, made of durable aluminum materials, consists of a two-part, 200 cm long boom, on which the total of 24 elements are alternately placed. The downstand beam running below the boom not only provides additional stability, but also serves to attach the antenna to the top of the mast. All necessary mounting material is of course included in the delivery.

The coaxial feed is, as usual with a LogPer, "in front" of the boom. For this purpose, an N socket is available.
