We offer these antennas specifically for receiving ADS-B/Mode-S beacon signals from aircraft. The antenna is protected by a glass fibre reinforcced tube that is both stable and water resistant, and it comes complete with a clamp for mast mounting.
The antenna is designed to work in the frequency range of the secondary radar system (IFF) of 1070 to 1110MHz.
This antenna provides good reception in all directions, including up, thanks to its round radial characteristics and an average gain of 5dB. There is no cable included in the delivery.
