The HAHF-1000 is a very light and compact shortwave antenna for portable operation; quickly ready for operation and loadable with a maximum of 50 watts (SSB). A separate footpoint coil with BNC connector (male) is available for each band, which is simply attached to the bottom of the telescopic rod.
The exact tuning to the working frequency is realized by changing the length of the telescope by means of a spreadsheet. The use of a tuner is therefore not mandatory.
By means of a suitable angular adapter, the antenna can also be connected directly to the transceiver, for example if operation is to be performed from the camping table or the seating area at a vantage point.
As with all antennas of this type, sufficient counterpoise should be provided.
The maximum possible length of the antenna is approx. 1.43 m.
