I0JXX 144 MHz Yagi antennas

Technical description

Like all antennas from I0JXX, these 2m Yagis are characterized by an excellent quality of workmanship and the use of high-quality materials in conjunction with a thoughtful design. The reliability and durability achieved in this way is particularly appreciated by many radio amateurs.

Especially worth mentioning: The assembly instructions for each antenna are clearly arranged, abundantly illustrated and multilingual (English, German, French, Italian). Thus, assembly and installation can be done in a short time.

The coaxial feeding is done via an N-socket at the feeding point of the dipole element with T-match. The balun is made of RG-142 coaxial cable and can be loaded with a transmit power of up to 1000 watts.

If, due to the size of an I0JXX antenna, additional guy material is required to stabilize the boom, this is generally included in the scope of delivery and does not need to be purchased separately.

The models with 4 and 8 elements are also available with mast mounting at the rear boom end (foremast mounting). These antennas additionally carry the suffix "_back" in the model designation.

Application description

I0JXX's 144 Mhz monoband Yagis are available in four different versions, making them suitable for many applications.

4JXX2:

Very compact and lightweight antenna with 4 elements on a 1 meter short boom. Ideal in confined spaces, can be mounted on the balcony, for example, and reliably bridges the distance to the next repeater.

4JXX2_BACK:

Very compact antenna with 4 elements on a 1.1 meter short boom. Design for foremast mounting (mast mounting at the rear boom end).

8JXX2:

This 4.25 m long Yagi has 8 elements. There is no need to guy the antenna, making it suitable for mast top mounting.

8JXX2_BACK:

This 4.8 m long Yagi also has 8 elements. Model for foremast mounting (mast attachment at the rear boom end). This model is guyed, additional space must be planned at the top of the mast.

8x8JXX2:

Are you looking for an antenna for EME or SAT operation? Then you should take a closer look at this cross yagi with 2 x 8 elements, 2 separate connectors and five-section, 4.75 m long boom. None of the boom sections is longer than 105 cm when disassembled, so the 8x8JXX2 is excellent to transport to the next field day.

12JXX2:

With 12 elements on a braced, 5.6 m long boom, considerable ranges can already be achieved. 

16JXX2:

The 9.3 m long 16-element Yagi is particularly suitable for weak signal DX and even longer ranges. By arranging them in groups, the efficiency can be increased even further.

32JXX2:

With 2 x 16 elements, the 32JXX2 is the top of the line 144 MHz antenna from I0JXX - Perfect for EME and Sat operation. The 9.45 m long boom is of course guyed. The antenna has 2 separate N connectors.
