The Icom IC-94DE is a full featured VHF handheld radio with DCS and AIS reception and distress button.

AIS receiver and DSC in one marine handheld radio.

The AIS receiver and DSC function provide additional safety at sea. Vessel traffic information from the integrated AIS receiver is shown on the display. The AIS target calling function makes it easy to make a DSC single call. For distress calls, there is an emergency call button on the rear panel.

6 W transmit power and 10 hours operating time

The transmission power of 6 W allows the user to have a long communication range. With a capacity of 2400 mAh (typ.), the included BP-306 Li-ion battery pack allows 10 hours of operation under normal conditions*.

Icom's special high power speaker and 1500 mW (typ.) AF power provide clear communication even in noisy maritime environments with enhanced playback.

Simplified navigation function

Navigation function guides you to a specified waypoint. Up to 50 favorite fishing spots or destinations can be assigned as waypoints.

Float'n Flash and MOB Auto Set Function

If the IC-M94DE falls into the water, it floats on the water surface with the display, keypad and emergency call button flashing. If the latter is pressed during this time, the handheld radio automatically transmits a man-overboard distress signal.
