Technical description
The InnovAntennas Multiband Yagis for shortwave and 6m (50.0 - 50.5 MHz) are constructed from several independent and interleaved Yagi systems. This allows the construction of compact multiband Yagis with a relatively short boom. The complete band is covered in each case!
All antenna systems use a common antenna cable. Antennas with multiple feed lines may suffer from interference, which is avoided here.
The multiband yagis for shortwave and 6m were calculated with modern software and then optimized by hand. This allows the designer Justin, G0KSC to achieve good gain and very good robustness to provide reliable performance even in adverse weather conditions.
Application description
InnovAntennas' combined shortwave and 6m Yagis offer excellent performance at relatively short boom lengths. The Yagi systems use a common antenna line and can thus be used with modern transceivers for shortwave and 6m.
A guy wire is not necessary, so the mounting can be done at the top of the mast.
For operation it is recommended to use a balun / jacket wave blocker, e.g. article 1848.0503, see "Accessories".
