FAQ

Can mobile antennas for KW only be used in the car?
In our WiMo store you will find mobile shortwave antennas that can still be used in tight spaces. Whether you are looking for a mobile solution for the car, the balcony, a small garden or another application with little space, it does not matter.
What is the difference between a mobile antenna and a full-grown dipole?
It is important to note that with mobile shortwave antennas you cannot expect to achieve the same efficiency as with a full-grown dipole. But the big advantage: With these mobile solutions for shortwave radio operators you still have the possibility to participate in shortwave radio operation at all. Whether mono or multiband solutions, here you will find a large selection of RF antennas for the car, as well as other accessories that can help you in the mobile use of a shortwave antenna as well as the mounting on the car: Mobile radiators, magnetic feet, control units, counterweights, adapters, radiators, stainless steel plates and much more.
For which bands are mobile antennas particularly suitable?
On the bands 10m, 15m and 20m you can usually achieve very good results. On the longer bands you can still work with mobile antennas, but here, depending on the application, larger antennas are useful.
