With the Escort HP 8900 from PNI, technology enthusiasts get their money's worth! Although the 11m mobile radio is very compact (and therefore ideal for vehicle installation), it has a wide range of professional features.

The front of the device is dominated by a 1.77 inch color display, which shows parallel to the currently set channel also the associated frequency, operating mode and other set functions. A display of the incoming signal strength (S-meter) is of course also available. The clearly and intuitively designed device menu is also very easy to use, and the desired settings and functions are easy to find. However, the most important functions such as channel selection, setting the operating modes, operating the manual and automatic squelch, direct access to channels 9 and 19 and much more can be operated directly via the buttons on the front panel.

There are no one-time or recurring fees for operation, registration and license are not required. Stay in touch with friends and colleagues quickly and easily at any time, even in places where no cell phone network is available.

Due to its small size, a suitable place for installation in is quickly found in almost any vehicle. The included DC cable is already equipped with a plug for the cigarette lighter or the 12 volt socket. Simply plug it in and the power supply is ensured. The laying of additional power cables and thus an intervention in the electronics of the vehicle is not necessary.

The integrated, powerful loudspeaker with an output of 3 watts ensures good sound and clear, intelligible voice reproduction.

The high-contrast, easy-to-read display has 3 adjustable brightness levels, allowing you to adapt it ideally to the current ambient lighting, for example for glare-free operation when driving at night.

By using CTSS tones or DCS codes, you have the option of undisturbed communication with one or more stations. You only hear the stations that have set the same code and vice versa. This does not guarantee privacy or encrypted communication, but it reduces the probability of interference from other activities on the set channel.

To ensure that you can continue to operate in compliance with the regulations even when you are on vacation in other European countries, the HP 8900 is simply switched to the applicable regional regulations when you cross the border. The currently set standard is permanently shown on the display.
