PNI ML160 CB Stainless Steel Radiator 145cm, 600W, PL

"The longer, the better." This simple rule of thumb still applies today with regard to the performance of a CB antenna. 

PNI's ML160 stainless steel antenna, which can be loaded with up to 600 watts, is no longer one of the most compact 11m mobile antennas with a length of 145 cm. A radiator of this size should therefore be attached to the vehicle with a magnetic base of suitable size, a stable clamping base or a mounting base. When driving in parking garages or underground garages, the antenna will have to be removed in most cases when it is placed on the roof of the vehicle.

Excellent range, good reception and very high power handling compensate for this inconvenience.

The Standing Wave Ratio (SWR) should be calibrated with a suitable measuring device before putting the antenna into operation. For this purpose, the stainless steel antenna rod is inserted or pulled out and fixed with an Allen screw.

Only with an optimally tuned antenna can you achieve the full performance of the antenna and avoid possible damage to the transceiver.

For optimum radiation, we recommend mounting in the center of the vehicle roof.
