PNI S60 CB mobile antenna with DV base, 60cm, 30W

The PNI S60 is a robust and compact mobile antenna for the 11 m band. The supplied DV base is suitable for fixed mounting, as well as for mounting on a suitable holder with a corresponding mounting hole. The antenna cable of type RG-58 is equipped with an angled plug on one side, which is connected to the antenna base from below. The "open" side of the cable can be cut to length according to the required conditions before the PL plug, which establishes the connection to the radio, is soldered on. 

The design principle of the DV base allows the antenna to be adjusted in its tilt or flipped over completely, for example when entering a parking garage. To do this, simply loosen the wing nut slightly and set the desired angle. Removing the radiator is just as easy, ensuring optimum protection against theft and vandalism.

The S60 is suitable for a permanent transmitting power of 30 watts, for a short time (!), it can even handle up to 200 watts.

Antennas of this type are also often found on commercial vehicles such as trucks or agricultural machinery due to their robustness and reliability as well as their low height. Here, there are special mounts for mounting on the linkage of the wing mirror, the roof rail, etc.
