Technical description TEN-90-MUSH

The TEN-90-MUSH is a selective (narrowband) antenna for ADS-B reception. The special feature of the TEN-10-MUSH is the design of the antenna element with a very narrow bandwidth, precisely tailored to the ADS-B frequency range at 1090 MHz. This eliminates the need for special filters at the receiver input.

The directional pattern is hemispherically directed upwards, so no noise is picked up from the ground. This also improves reception for ADS-B signals. Due to the flat radiation, signals can be received well not only from above but also from the side. The antenna is largely independent of a fixed polarisation plane. Weatherproof construction with protection class IP68, the connection for the coaxial cable is a professional TNC socket. The thread for mounting is 5/8".

Application description TEN-90-MUSH

The TEN-10-MUSH antenna is designed for use in exposed locations where other radio services are also active. Due to the special design of the antenna, it has a very narrow bandwidth and only receives the desired signals around the ADS-B range of 1090 MHz. All other signals (aeronautical radio, mobile radio, radar, IFF, etc.) are strongly attenuated. This relieves the receiver and the range is improved.

The targeted directivity upwards and towards the horizon also serves to improve reception, interference from below (buildings) is reduced. The TEN-90-MUSH is professionally designed and offers excellent ADS-B performance in demanding environments.
