Well-informed at all times, networked across all channels and always ready when needed - the TH-D75E offers the perfect technology package.

The new TH-D75E is the logical evolution of Kenwood's popular TH-D74E duobander. Not only the housing design of the TH-D75E is reminiscent of its predecessor, but also the UI design and user guidance largely follow the proven concept.

The main features of the TH-D75E include:

Integrated digipeater: one of the outstanding features of the KENWOOD TH-D75E is its integrated digipeater. This allows the transceiver to act as a packet data repeater, which is especially useful in situations where the communication range needs to be extended.

Dual Watch Digital Voice: The TH-D75E offers the Dual Watch Digital Voice (D-STAR) feature, which means you can monitor two digital frequencies simultaneously. This allows you to keep track of multiple important conversations or communication channels without missing important information.

Wideband Receiver (HF): An exciting feature of the TH-D75E is its wideband receiver, which extends listening capabilities beyond the VHF-UHF bands. You can now explore and tune in to shortwave (HF) frequencies, allowing you to enjoy a wider variety of communication options and experience new aspects of amateur radio.

Multimode and IF Shift: The TH-D75E is a multimode transceiver, which means it supports multiple communication modes, including analog FM and various digital modes. This gives you the flexibility to adapt to different environments and communication preferences. In addition, the IF shift function allows you to adjust the receive frequency to eliminate interference and improve signal quality.

Analog and digital APRS: Another highlight is the APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) capability of the KENWOOD TH-D75E. In both analog and digital modes, you can use APRS to send and receive position information, text messages and other data. This feature is especially useful during outdoor activities, emergencies, and search and rescue operations.

Connectivity and Power: The TH-D75E has a USB-C port that facilitates convenient charging (even on the go with a powerbank, for example) and connection to other devices. It also has a built-in TNC (Terminal Node Controller) that allows you to easily connect to APRS systems or other data networks. With an adjustable power from 5W to 100mW, you can adjust the transmit power to suit the situation as needed.

After a long wait, Kenwood has introduced the TH-D75E, a VHF/UHF handset that promises to take amateur radio communications to a new level. Featuring integrated digipeater, dual receive, wideband capability, multimode.
The device complies with IP54/55 standards and is thus protected against the ingress of dust or rainwater, for example.

Although Kenwood has not released any further official details, more information is expected to be announced at this year's HAM RADIO in Friedrichshafen, Germany, before the final presentation in JAPAN for fall.
